my TR here, though you guys prob get a bunch of them on this board!

Great hike. The temps weren't bad at all I thought.

Sorry we missed you Ellen, we started at about 4:30 and took a bit under 7 hrs to get up to Long Valley. For a group of 9 people, not bad.

Gonna do something pretty big in 2 weeks. Not sure exactly what, but am thinking of doing the following: Baldy via Register Ridge from Manker Flats, then over to Dawson, Pine, and back.

Would be about 13-14 miles, 7000 ft gain. Sound good?

it does, i would love to hike with your group again, you make a great trip leader Joseph. i can't go in two weeks tough, i will be in vegas over halloween then on the 8th going to attempt a sub 4 on skyline.
you have anything planned for the 15th of November?

15th...I get the feeling I'll be out of town then. After that I'll do a bit more running for a few weeks for the half-marathon. then back to some more exploratory hikes.
