Seven Pines to Mt San Jacinto recap

I posted a Marrion Mountain or Seven Pines message a couple of weeks ago. We made the Seven Pines trip overnighter last Friday 8/15 night as planned. Five of five made it to Little Round Valley campsite & three made it to the peak. We all agree that we are no uber-athletes, but claim fame to anything that resembles the effort. We took a lot of breaks & spread out the ascent over 7 hours. We were blessed with running creaks at Little Round Valley. The temps were perfect. Night lows were 44 deg. The humity was between 45-50% & there were very light breezes.

We want to say thanks to Hikin Jim & others for paving a reasonable picture of what to expect. Hope to make more trips in the future.
