I'll be doing a little backpack this weekend (Sat & Sun) with the Sierra Club from Humber Park, staying overnight in Reeds Meadow. On Saturday, I plan to summit Tahquitz Peak. On Sunday, I plan to do Red Tahquitz. I'll be wearing a maroon long sleeved nylon shirt, khaki nylon pants, a khaki broad brimmed hat, and I have a maroon backpack.

Yeah. The NWS site said 20% chance of snow for Saturday this morning but now just says rain for Tahquitz Valley. It would be pretty cool if it turned into a snow hike, but it's way too hot. All we'd be in is a soggy mess. Lol; just my luck. But, hey, I had fantabulous weather a couple of weeks ago in the SGW. This'll just be "good training" as we used to say in the Army.
