lived near a military base too long - anything under 4.0 is mistaken for a jet flying by - then again at 3am I am happily sleeping through anything that is a M1.5

I told the wife it was an earthquake. She was certain I had fallen because of too many drinks.

Didn't feel it. And really if it's under 5.0 I probably won't even notice. I guess growing up in California one gets used to these things.

I hope you don't start feeling them all! You'll be shaking constantly. This This Web site lists every earthquake recorded in California in the past week. There were 625 of them in the past 168 hours. Of those, 85 were magnitude 2 or greater.

Probably true. It is pretty easy to put all of the data on that Web page into Excel and sort by latitude/longitude. You can compare your shaking with the seismo labs!
