Hmm. Something tells me that our honored guest, Ellen, might not be up for for a "Skyline Party" just yet.

Maybe sticking with something vehicularly accessible is our best bet for now.

Jean and I are happy to attend regardless of the when or the where as long as its on the weekend.

I would like to insist that it be the dates of either 8 or 9 March. Three weeks of being couped up is enough for anyone so lets get Ellen out of the house.

Saturday March 8 from 11 AM until at least 1 PM at Victoria park sounds great

I'm bringing home made whole wheat molasses bread and suitable anesthetic beverages :lol:

Is the gathering Saturday, March 8th in the afternoon? Afternoon would be best for me too - that way I can hike in the morning.

Sat March 8th at Victoria Park 11 to 1 sounds good to me. I will bring beer and brownies (not THOSE kind!) Now all we need is a couple of veggies and some chips and dip and we're set ....

But I still wanna do a get together at my house later in the month, so we can screen a DVD of ALIVE. We will discuss timing at the Bar-B-Que ...

MW, let me know what else you need me to bring ....

Later in the afternoon is fine with me and might be better for many who want to get some hiking in, but I tend to think we should let our instigator and guest of honor , MW and Ellen, be the final arbitors (ers?) of the exact time. MW and Ellen, what about a slightly later afternoon time slot? Thoughts anyone? I will go with any time, as a local any time works for me.

What about 12:30pm - 3:00pm on Saturday?

I will be happy to stay later than 3:00pm (less honey do chores for me) as will Ellen. We are trying to balance the time for those that are going to travel into Palm Springs for an early morning hike and look to be home before dark.

If the above time makes it easier that would be great. If someone commits to coming later please let us know and we'll drink beer or wine until you arrive.
