Walt: Thanks for being willing to head up there. I had my stuff packed but I knew I shouldn't try to go out there on my own (I wander on my own all the time, but this just wasn't a good time to do that) - my son shook his head at me when I told him I was going up there. Stan, Perry, and SS are really fast and can cover lots of ground in a short period of time - that's something I can't do but I wanted to help somehow. I was so happy to find out that you were going up there and then I was so happy to find out that Ellen was found and I wouldn't have to think about going up there and getting in the way.

Everyone on this board is so kind and caring - it's a great place to hang out.

Also, many thanks goes out to our SAR teams - they are wonderful and committed people!!!

I tried to call at Desert Regional Hospital and they put me through to her number but there was no answer. I bet everyone is trying to call, and she may not be ready for calls yet. I called at 8.00 am which is the start of visitors hours.

Keep us posted guys. I imagine it's fair to give her well wishes on all of our parts, but for sure tell her that I said, "God speed and get well soon."

Is there a way we can send cards or flowers? I remember how much it meant to me when I broke my leg in Canda and was marking time in a hospital bed.

As I also posted over in "Ellen Lost", I went to visit Ellen this morning, Tuesday, but she was in surgery. They would not give me details but said she will be awake by this afternoon, when I plan to go back. After I see her or talk to her, I will post details on her condition.
