Guadalupe Trail Guide Wanted - Dec 30

Hiking from The Cove to Sugarloaf Dec 30. Looking for a guide with prior experience with this hike to lead us. Offering BEER, dinner and gratuity upon successful completion.

There are 4 of us, highly motivated, able bodied and ready to go. Hiking Cactus Spring Trail today in preparation, and hiked to 1st Creek yesterday from Cove. Concerned about the 5 miles of poorly marked trail in between these waypoints.

Hey thanks Cy & Walt, I just read the thread, maybe I'll hear from them.

It's been a long time since I've been up that trail, should be able to remember those touch sections around 2,500 - 3000 ft. area.

I contacted Rick and they were interested in hiking DOWN from 74 and I offered to hike UP with them (I avoid hiking downhill whenever possible).

I hope they made it OK and had a great time. I haven't heard of any rescues so I assume all went well.
