Veterans Day Skyline

If anyone is planning on doing Skyline and/or C2C on Veterans Day, be advised that downtown Palm Springs will be very crowded in the afternoon. There will be a 5K starting at 1 pm followed by a parade and then a fireworks show. Much of this will take place near and next to the museum, so expect Palm Canyon Drive to be closed and lots of congestion in the area.

Thanks for the info. I'm doing the longer version tomorrow, from Snow Creek Village via PCT. We are starting at 2:30 am tonight, so I imagine we will be tramming down in the early evening. Do you know what time the fireworks are?
