Rescue Box 1 & 2

Postby kwilliams508 » Tue Feb 23, 2016 3:20 pm

Appreciate your help in advance... Can someone update the Status of the contents in Rescue Box 1 and 2? If people can continue to update this Topic with what the current contents of Rescue Box 1 and 2 are that can help in getting the needed supplies to the boxes quicker. Any help is greatly appreciated.

As of 4 days ago:

Rescue 1: 1-2 liters of water, first aid kit getting pretty sparse (no bandaids), some gauze, antiseptic wipes. Maybe 1 trail mix bar.

Rescue 2: < 1 liter of water, first aid kit has bandaids, antiseptic wipes. I don't remember any food.

Anything could have happened in 4 days, though...

Thanks for the update. The Palm Springs Mounted Police Search & Rescue are planning on resupplying Box 1 this weekend.

Box #1
The Mounties took all the trash out of Box #1 this weekend and resupplied. They also added reflective striping See Picture.

It never ceases to amaze me. We need to install a hidden camera.

Let us just assume for now that when supplies go missing from a rescue box, that they were used in the manner intended.
No cameras please.
If water and food is gone - the rescue box most likely did its job. (the whole idea, right?)

Well, not to be negative, but I think it's pretty well established that in fact that is NOT what is happening. People are taking things for convenience.
