Hope this isn't off topic for the Mt. San Jacinto & Palm Springs zone, but ...

Happy Thanksgiving to all you crazy trail-lovin' fools out there! :)

I'm hoping to see some of you on Saturday, but between now and then, I just wanted to say I really appreciate all the camaraderie and fun that this little online community brings to an already wonderful wilderness experience.

Thanks for the humor, trail condition reports, recipes, pictures, kooky ideas, sincere feedback, clean up efforts along Skyline, get-togethers, encouragement, directions (to trailheads and when I got lost on my first Skyline trip!) . . . and more!

Zippety is right on target. I am thankful for being healthy enough to hike, having enough time to hike and being able to communicate, visit with and be passed on the trail by the wonderful folks on this forum.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all. We have a lot to be thankful for especially a great back yard and the health and desire to enjoy it all. :)

Thanks for making this forum such a special place -- I always feel that I'm among friends when I visit.

A special thanks to Grandmaster Perry, who I hope to actually meet in person some day.
