San Gorgonio from the air

San Gorgonio summit from United Airlines flight 5652 flying from SFO to PSP today. I tried to see if i could see any hikers at the summit but couldn't quite tell.

Nice pic. You can see all three of the high points on San Gorgonio Mountain. You can see very clearly the East Fork Jump Off area (aka "the Dragon's Maw") as well as Big Horn Mountain, Dragon's Head Peak, the ridge that the Vivian Creek Trail ascends, and both high points on Jepson Peak. The named summit is just slightly lower according to my GPS and my altimeter than the unnamed summit on Jepson slightly to the east.

Great photo, Florian. But it must have been awfully windy standing on that wing. :wink:
