Yes, he has just been found after being out (Sat, Sun, and Mon) nights. They are still bring him back to base, do not know details yet.
How can I be lost if I don't care where I am?

I hope he's OK. It's been cold out. It was 25 Fahrenheit at Dry Lake the other morning (according to the little cheapie thermometer on the strap of my backpack).

Yeah I'm wondering how this turned out? Nothing new on the news. We heard the helicopter overhead almost constantly for 3 days. Jim's right it was pretty chilly. 3 nights out in that weather without proper equipment would be rough.

From Idyllwild Town Crier:

"Alphonso Nguyen, 34, of Garden Grove was found safe at about 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, after calling 911 Saturday at about 4:15 p.m. from his dying cell phone.

Nguyen was found with just cuts and bruises and some dehydration near Azalea Girl Scout Camp on Dark Canyon Road, according to Sgt. Lawler with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, speaking from the Incident Command Post at Marion Mountain Campground. "He looked pretty good," said Lawler. An American Medical Rescue ambulance took the hiker to the San Gorgonio Medical Center for evaulation.

Nguyen had been hiking with a group of people who became separated into two groups when one group moved faster than the other. Each of the groups thought he was with the other group. The party began at Marion Mountain Trail. Lawler said the ping on Nguyen's cell phone was believed to be in the Little Round Valley area."

Sounds like he might have gone down the Seven Pines trail instead of the the Marion Mountain Trail. Glad he's OK.
