cactus to clouds trail condition

anyone know the condition of the cactus to cloud trail.....PS to Tram....icy? too icy?....or just perfect?, etc.

Hiked the Skyline Trail (i.e., PS to Tram) yesterday....trail was in great shape....up to 6 inches of snow on the trail near the top....but not icy at 3pm- 4pm. Had crampons, but were not necessary...would have been if it had been colder.

I'm doing a photo story on the C to C trail and looking for a couple or people (or a few) I can take photos of doing this hike.
It's for the April issue of Palm Springs Life magazine. Looking to do a some photos at the start of the hike and then at the peak of San Jacinto.
