Thank you all so much for your responses. I was over whelmed with the kindness and warm thoughts. I didn't get
a notice from this website about the responses so I just now saw all the wonderful comments. I love you all
and I am so happy that our trails continue to cross. It was good to hear from you Zippity!!! Its been awhile since
I have seen you. San G. has to be my other favorite hike. Wish it was a little closer (I think) LOL.
Anyway, I'm sure I will be seeing all of you very soon.

A big congratulations to you, Doreen. You are my inspiration and I'm glad and pleased to have met you. You are much more than the 'Goddess of the Skyline.' 300 is certainly a major accomplishment (especially dealing with previous/current health issues) which motivates me to more Skyline (I'm on #14). 300 is a unique #. In bowling, it is a perfect score of all 'strikes.' And in history, the 300 Spartans who fought in the amazing battle of Thermopylae. In religious text, instances of 300 are mentioned.

I do hope I get the special opportunity to hike Skyline with you. Although I do respect your privacy. I'm sure we'll connect again on some trail. All the best, David
