Sunday on Skyline

Howdy All :)

Miracle Marilyn and I "enjoyed" Another butt kicking, warm Skylinw yesterday. My legs were still tired from breaking snow on Baldy -- that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it  . Donned micros at the beginning of the traverse for added security.

We hung out at the bar with Art and David -- they'd also done Skyline. Turns out we started at about the same time. They had even waved at me from their truck near the TH and I waved back, not knowing who they were due to the dark and my poor eyesight  At least I had the chance to apologize and explain why I hadn't recognized them. Then these two speedy Santas bought my beers -- thanks guys 8)

Learned from Jessica that we had hiked up on the Craigmeister's birthday -- the beginning of winter and the shortest day of the year! At least I was able to share some of Marilyn's yummy persimmon bread with the birthday boy 8)

Merry Christmas to my forum and tram family.

Congratulations on your 'wintry' ascent, Ellen! Sounds and looks like a beautiful day. :D
