SJ Peak Conditions Feeler

Postby OsideMatt » Thu Dec 04, 2014 3:47 pm

Thanksgiving has me feeling cooped up. Now that the weather has moved through would love to hear conditions from anywhere on the mtn. LV cam seems to be down for the last two days. Unless it's hellish I'll ascend Devil's Slide and summit prob. Sat. with the alternate being Marion Mtn.

Thanks!

When we did Skyline today we made the observation that the mountain got tons of rain. Long Valley did not get any snow, and although the view was rather cloudy, it looked as though not a whole lot of snow fell even at the higher elevations.

Thanks Sally! Very helpful. I would have expected it to be the opposite but I couldn't see the peak from my house yesterday (Mission San Luis Rey). I'll post Front side conditions if there's anything of substance to report.
