I'm working on it... I think "Ashley" thought this forum would be easy trolling waters without realizing that I know a fair amount about computers and the Internet, and I have friends who are computer whizzes.

Taken from a computer dictionary:

troll [verb] to disrupt the boards, post up offensive/argumentative stuff with no other point than to make a fuss/create mayhem/quarrel/get the thread binned; [noun] (1) person engaged in trolling; (2) accusation levelled at someone with a different view, akin to saying "You have beaten me in an argument, and i'm taking my ball home" (arch ernism)

This person has been going beyond that definition and using psychological tactics to inflict pain on others, usually without provocation. This has happened for years on the Whitney Portal Store Message Board, a little bit on Mt-Whitney.info, and also the new San Gabriel Mountains Forum. It's very rare that I moderate this forum, but we can't have that kind of negative energy here. This is supposed to be a fun place to meet friends and chat about common interests. Occasionally there's interesting arguments, but for the most part positive energy.
