It's nice to see that the lost and found at the tram is being utilized properly.

"Yes, I seem to have lost a hiker; has one been turned in?"

"Oh, we have an odd lot that's been left behind; some of them are quite nice, actually. Here's the bin. Why don't you rummage around and see if yours is there?"

That's how I met my wife actually. I never did find out what happen to that blonde I rode the tram up with...

In case anyone is wondering, for the sake of full disclosure, I wasn't the blonde

Actually, HJ, the tram doesn't allow one to "rummage" through a bin any more. My daughter lost something once and the lady wouldn't let me rummage, but instead checked a LIST of found items. ("HMMM... we have a middle-aged women in tan pants and a pink shirt here on page three on the list.") She also informed me that they don't hold on to items for long. I wonder what they do with all the lost and unclaimed hikers. Give them to charity, maybe?
