The first three are from yesterday, the rest are from our Skyline hike several weeks ago.

Yesterday Sally, the Craigmeister and I were passed twice on Skyline by the elite ultra-runner Brent (BDog). The first time was at about 2 K, the second time we were almost to Grubbs. He'd already been to the peak and was heading back down.

Miles of smiles,
Ellen

Thanks for posting the pics, Ellen! I still haven't learned how to post pics directly to the board without putting them on Picasa first. (I know, HJ has got the instructions posted here somewhere!)

Florian, I got a new camera to take to the Alps with me this summer, a Panasonic DMC-ZS40, and I'm having really good luck with close-ups. I DO mean luck because I am no pro! I'll be sure to get some nice shots of Edelweiss.
