My early vote for post of the year (it's only April?)! This is an absolute classic.
I've done huge disjointed sections of this adventure, but never had the huevos to do anything this ambitious.
Cudos to you and Evan for putting this and other trips on the interwebs in such a professional manner. You inspire the rest of us ploggers to get out and do more exploring.

I know there is an easier way to put a url but got lazy. Here's an interesting item in todays Press Enterprise about the peaks on Eric's hike. Wanat Peak named after "cougar" in Serrano and Chuchillo means knife in Spanish.

Oh yeah, nice hike, trip report and pics Eric.

Ah, Cuchillo is spanish for Knife.
