Got work covered, so Oct 27 is my attempt at sub-4 C2C.... Anybody want to verify and/or pace from Long Valley to Peak? Ryan? Yesterday evening I went sub-2 on Vivian (barely), so I think it's doable.

Hey Perry! You broke the 2 hour barrier on Vivian!!! Congratulations - no small feat.

As far as the 27th, I have family commitments or I would be there and pace you the final 100 yards. Sorry, but that would be about as far as I could keep you in view. If I can wiggle out of my commitments, I'd be happy to shoot some pics at the beginning and the end and run a separate stopwatch so that you have a redundant timing source. If I can't, I'm sure rooting for you!

Incidentally, I think you were planning on using a GPS to show your track. Do you have a Garmin Forerunner? That's the lightest one I know of, and it gets a great signal even in the trees, and is worn like a watch so you can see it without having to slow down and get it out. If you don't have one, you're welcome to use mine. Just let me know.

Thanks Zip, that would be a great excuse to finally meet up sometime. I don't have one. Going home and going to bed now.... But I'll call you sometime. I should have called you yesterday in Yucaipa, but I was soooo freakin tired!
