South Ridge Trail conditions

I'm planning to hike to the peak tomorrow via South Ridge to Wellman Divide. Per the ranger station, these trails are open but were these areas effected significantly by the 2013 fire? Is the area surrounding the trail charred? Thanks.[/code]
