Not Black Mountain Road, which also starts on the 243. There is no snow at the road where the trail begins. I haven't been up the trail recently, but there will most likely be snow as you get higher up, say above 8000 or 9000 feet. It's especially nice if you are descending around sunset, as you can see the sun reflecting off the Pacific from up there. Have fun!

Answering myself - road is clean, trail has last few islands of snow around the peak, otherwise clean as well.
