I walked from home on 03/24 in Idyllwild went up dear springs made a left on the pct then noticed I forgot my tent poles so I cowboy camped at around 9000' less than a mile from LRV instead of going any higher without a tent. the next morning I hiked south on the PCT to Devil's slide to ernie maxwell trail and home.
