More snow neat the Wilderness Boundary
About 7700 feet, snow covers the entire trail
Getting a little slick in spots, so I put on Yak Trax.
My friend managed with just boots, although it got icy coming down.
We reach the PCT, Lots of snow, about an inch deep.

Following tracks someone left the day before, very cold in the shade!

Peaked just after noon, San Gorgonio looks awesome.
Cold and Windy at the top, we only saw 2 groups of people.
People always ask about conditions at the top, relatively snow free
Clouds rolled in and there were a few flurries
We went to the Stone hut out of the wind and made some coffee and soup. Put a fresh notebook/register since it was full in November.

Due to the icy trail going down past the PCT, it was slow going for my friend and we didn't reach the car until 4:50.
Superbowl was already a blowout by then! All in all it was cool to be on San Jacinto in February without snow shoes!
