No museum parking for Skyline on Sat

Postby Florian » Fri Jan 10, 2014 7:30 pm

5k race in Palm Springs tomorrow (1/11) will have side streets and museum lots closed to parking. Anyone doing Skyline 1/11 should plan to find alternate parking.

Oops! I read this one a little late. My buddy and I parked next to the trail head in the museum lot at 3:40 am on the 11th. We did the full C2C on Saturday (my first full deal, and 4th on Skyline), and returned to the car at 7:30 pm via taxi. We received a warning on the windshield.

Is this gunna be the norm now, or is parking only an issue during special events :?:

Usually just during special events. But it's busy time of year at the museum. The lot is also used sometimes for events at the O'Donnall golf club. And anyone parked in any of the red fire lane WILL be towed no question.
