Dobbs, Jepson and San Gorgonio

Having done Dobbs recently and totally seeing this as a better route to San G, when you did Jebson, did you take the ridge to San G or back to the trail? Also I imagine you came down the say way?

Hi lesper4, We didn't go straight back down to the trail from Jepson, but rather took a sort of traversing eastward angle down to meet the trail to San G. We came back down via Vivian Creek Trail. We agree, Dodds is definitely a more enjoyable way to San G but a little intense on the knees coming back down.

Dobbs is also a nice winter route which we usually terminate at Jepson, and come back down Dobbs with either snowshoes or crampons depending on conditions.
