Thanks to Z-dude's suggestion, it looks like Sat Oct 5 may be viable for a group get together in Long Valley.

I added Sun Oct 6 in the mix as Sister Sally works on Saturdays. Grandmaster P indicated the Scanlon clan may be able to come

How does this weekend work and which day is better for everyone?

I will try to get Saturday Oct 5 off. Hopefully, someone will fill in for me and Patty will feel sorry for me because I missed your Birthday Bash. Hi Patty!

Of course, if Sunday Oct 6 is the day for the Get Together I will be there for sure!

Both the 5th the 6th are open for us right now. We probably couldn't come until 2:00 or 3:00 PM on the 6th but could make it.

Of course I'm only willing to come if we can turn it into some kind of surprise for Ellen.

Ellen, thanks for getting the ball rolling! It'll be great to see old friends again, and to have a chance to meet Crystal and Lily and tons of other people I've chatted with here online but never met.

Sally, can you get off early enough to just take the tram up? I don't know what time we're thinking about so far, but I'd guess afternoon, which might allow some wiggle room.

Zip, you're so funny. To hear you talk, it's almost like Skyline were the standard route instead of the tram, not the other way around.

Anyone suggesting there's any shame in taking the tram must first take the "Joycie challenge" up Skyline. Like this:
