I'm taking a group of Boy Scouts up next weekend (camp out at Tamarck Valley, hike to the San Jacinto summit) as prep for a 5-day High Sierra backpack later this summer. Any info on the water situation near Round Valley? Was up there several years ago - we had to pack our water in with us.

The pipe at the west end of RV was flowing on Friday.

Was there water this past weekend? I am taking a small BSA group there next weekend--Doing the Devil's Slide-Round Valley via Laws and want to to know latest on water.

Hopefully someone will reply with first hand knowledge, but it would be highly unusual for the "spring" in Round Valley to be out this early in the year. Two months from now is when I'd be really worried about it.
