I never thought I'd say it after all the horse track's I walked in on the PCT last year but those hand tractor track's are just ugly I'll take the horse crap and hoof prints any day over hand tractors. They don't use hand tractors over on the other side of the San Jacintos were I hike most every week as far as I know just horses and I realy hope it stay's that way. Last year when I returned from the PCT and hiked up skyline then home to Idyllwild and looked at the tractor track's I thought the rangers got a new new patrol quad when I was away and were tearing up the forest. Then on my next hike home I met a CCC guy that explained it to me. That helped with my anger a bit at least they were doing somthing other than ???
