Found a ring near Laws Junction

Postby apage » Sat May 18, 2013 7:53 am

Hi, While camping near Laws Junction, I found a gold ring on the edge of the campsite. Our camp location was 33.78109 -116.64631
If you lost a ring or know someone who lost a ring please leave a post (i get an email when someone replies) so I can return it to the owner. I left out the description so the owner can describe it and we can be confident it's going back to it's owner. Thanks

It must be taken deep into Mordor and cast back into the fiery chasm from whence it came.

Seems reasonable, Andy, but they have a lot of security at IRS headquarters.

Ah. My mistake. There is a striking resemblance between a certain employee at the DWA and Sauron, isn't there?

One lusts for power and authority over puny humans in a vain attempt to elevate himself to Godlike eminence.

The other is a fictional character from the fertile mind of Tolkien.

"One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its black gates are guarded by more than just Orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep."

I couldn't resist.

But really, I'd be really stoked to get the ring back to it's owner.

I know, but in the meantime, this thread has provided me with some major yuks. :D

But seriously, have you tried asking someone at the tram station? They do have a lost and found (I turned in a lost camera there once.) I'm guessing if someone lost the ring, they'd report it there or at the ranger station.

Our entry point was Humber Park so we stopped by the ranger station on the way out and spoke to them about their lost and found system. No disrespect to the rangers but, based on their response, I chose to try to find the owner myself as I had lost confidence in their lost and found system based on their response.
I'll just put it in the safe and hope that someone searches this forum and contacts me. It's already populating Google so my hopes are high.
