Car break-in at San Bernardino trailhead

Have there been break-ins at Vivian Creek trailhead as well? That is so much more accessible and open than the small dirt parking lot at SB Peak.

I realize this forum is for San Jacinto, but since the topic is open, is there a relatively safer place to park near Vivian Creek trail head?

The Vivian Creek Trailhead parking area is generally safer than the San Bernardino Peak Trailhead parking area. Just make sure you don't leave anything that might tempt a thief in sight in your vehicle.
