Yea, giving FO his own section would be fun....trolls could stay in there too, i do miss the zaniness of the way the board used to be. but he would want to come out of his room youre right Perry. He and I did seem to have complete opposite adventure tactics ( caffiene and tresspassing) but we did get along good.

The board seems now to be pretty much dedicated to serious info, back then i remember sitting up having online conversations that lastest past bedtime. :)

I think that was part of the newness or the group as well. We had all just run into each other on the trail and were sorting out who was available to go, who was fun to go with, etc. We see less of that now because we've kinda gotten to know each other, and we all still adhere to roughly the same things we loved even back then. For example...

Some here never tire of certain trails, like Skyline, and can be found there almost every weekend. Others, like me, love Skyline, but try something new almost every weekend. We don't all see each other regularly, but it's always a joy when we do.

In any case, I'd never second guess you Perry, and I don't imagine anybody here would either. It was a necessary decision (though I do hope to run into FIGHT ON on the trail in person) and there's no way you'd have time to babysit someone here online when you have your own itsy bitsy thing to watch over.

Speaking of which, (sorry about the hijack, I promise to come right back to the topic) when you get a chance to post about your adventures as a father and a couple pics of your girl as she grows, I'd love to hear/see how it's going!

Anyway, back on topic. I'll be in town this Saturday morning to do Skyline. Hopefully I'll run into some friends while I'm there and maybe I'll meet Mr. Hefty and have a chance to get to know him a little bit. I'll post if I do.

I looked for you yesterday but there is a huge buttress that blocks the view to the ridge you were on. we had a long day (16 hrs). had your trip go? found a new grow camp, freshly killed deer....and then the conditions were tough,. an eventful day to say the least.

you see the old FO thread in general chat?
