We did the cactus to clouds hike yesterday and had a wonderful time.
We started late by some people's standards, 8am but that still left us
plenty of time to make numerous stops along the way and we reached
the tram station at about 6pm. The weather was great probably in the
80s in Palm Springs. Don't believe anyone used more than a gallon of water
for the entire trip. The trail was very well marked the whole way, we only
saw a few small patches of snow near the very top. Most of the trail is gradual, though by the time you get to the big Manzanita patches it stats to get steeper and tougher. I would recommend this as an excellent hike to any
who are reasonably fit. Enjoy
