I've been to all of those spots and taken pictures of them but could only find a few in my old blog.
This one has the Needle's Eye and Palisades.

I've hiked to Needle's Eye before and there are some cool petroglyphs down there but it's been quite a few years. It's a narrow in the West Fork of Palm Canyon and there is a trail to it but it's very overgrown by now. I missed the cutoff when I was there as my story explains. The Palisades are some steep cliffs up pretty high on the canyon wall and are visible from some areas in Palm Springs. There's a picture in the blog.
Bullseye Rock is a good sized rock back in Palm Canyon and Florian and I hiked to it and beyond. There's also a far amount of Indian artifacts in the area and it features prominently in Cahuilla history although not one of their more edifying aspects of it. I talk about it in this blog post which contains a picture.

I have a shot of the Desert Angel but couldn't readily find it. The "Angel" is a spot on the side of the mountain that is best seen from I-10 near the Indian Avenue offramp. Morning is the best time for viewing. It's an area of lighter colored rocks in the shape of an Angel with wings and once you've seen it you'll always know its location. If I find the picture I have of it, I'll post it unless someone beats me to it.
