Baldy Bowl for Lilbitmo

Postby Ellen » Sat Dec 29, 2012 5:50 pm

Howdy All,

My friend Patrick Moran took me up the Baldy Bowl for my first time in December of 2009. Since then,he has continued to help me grow as a mountaineer. Patrick has just suffered the devastating loss of his brother. He was in my thoughts and prayers all day on Baldy as I climbed up the Bowl and descended the ski hut trail. I dedicate yesterday's hike to Patrick, who always strives to do a Lilbitmo :-)

From the heart,
Ellen

My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours Patrick. I don't think I'm alone in saying I'm willing to help out if there's anything I can do in this tough time for you. Just say the word.

Ellen's Dedicated Hike

Postby lilbitmo » Tue Jan 15, 2013 12:13 pm

As I was reeling from the grief on the night of my brothers funeral this post popped up and gave me great comfort. It's things like this and people like you (all of you not just Ellen but what a super kind thing she did) that give me hope and keep my faith strong for a better world for all of us, if it's not here then it will be somewhere else. I was deeply touched by all of the kind things everyone did and said.

I'm blessed to know such wonderful people and wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart.

God Bless
