Howdy All

Sally, Alli (her daughter) and I are hiking the PCT from highway 74 to the tram station tomorrow:

It looks like we're getting our first real snow tomorrow night, so we're squeezing in the hike. We'll start at 3 AM -- should be at the tram by 5 PM.

Thanks so much for WhiteBark's link

We'll leave the PCT at Little Tahquitz valley and go north to the junction with the Willow Creek/Hidden Divide trail. Then up and over Hidden Divide to the tram.

The only section of this route I haven't done is from 74 to the Cedar Springs junction.

As of about 2:45, they were rounding the bend on the PCT that goes around Red Tahquitz. Looks like they're doing well. What a set of hikin' fools! (I'm envious)

Waiting for the next update! It's been 45 minutes.

From this point I'd guess it's about 3 hours at their pace. They're making pretty good time.
