HJ was past the manzanita and moving well when I last saw him. I have full confidence that he is now a full fledged Skyliner. Ellen, true to her word, covered his first beer after the event. It was a perfect, cool day on Skyline, and a great chance to see good friends.

Thanks, Zip, for slowing to subsonic and accompanying me up from Flat Rock the majority of the way to The Traverse.

I topped out at Grubbs notch at 1330 this afternoon, 9 hours, almost to the minute, after starting at the Ramon trailhead. I had thought that 11 hours would be needed, so I was quite pleased by my 9 hour time (to Grubbs Notch; 9:20 to the tram).

Thanks also to Ellen for the liquid recovery beverage (Arrogant Bastard of course). Ellen, that wild woman, is doing Skyline again tomorrow.

Well, kinda yes and kinda no. I've seen everything, but I didn't neccessarily learn the name. Some were obvious (The Traverse, Flat Rock), but things like Enchanted Garden, Thank You Jesus Rocks, etc. I didn't have any way to identify.
