Donnie, that's funny! I don't know what the desert profile feature is usually like, but I generally give unusual answers to questions. :D

Hi Ellen,

Sorry for having been away for so long...I think the picture is from the south end of the Lyken Trail. Perry uses us poor hikers as targets as he starts his runs..."hmm looks like a hiker about 3/4 of the way up on Mesquite...bet I can catch him before he gets to the top."

He really covers the ground out there.

It's the north end of the South Lykken Trail. Yes, that's a real place at the end of Mesquite, not to be confused with the south end of the North Lykken Trail (end of Ramon). :D

I saw a guy once headed up to the north northwest end of the south southeast Lykken trail. I went after him but got all turned around. :oops:
