I'd say its class 3 from the southeast route, but one can make it harder by going up the west side.

It's that last little bit where Zé is sitting that I'm calling Class 4 although that's only the last 10 feet or so of the route. There are no obvious or solid handholds/footholds. It has to be climbed by friction alone. It scared the bejeebers out of me, and I turned back.

Everything leading up to that last little bit is certainly Class 3 or less.

I agree 100% with that statement.

Definitely not class 2 as the Sierra club mentioned. Maybe to the peak register.

I ended up doing the peak a few weeks ago. I climbed up via the east side using a crack right above where the register was placed (the area between where Jim labeled class 2+ and class 4). I would consider the route a weak class 4. Upon coming up to a small "ridge" right before the highpoint, I looked to the left at the class 3 I couldve taken.

Very cool video dude, Last time I was up there I think it took me 10 minutes to get the nerve to do the last little traverse to the peak.
