Snakes and Toads and Country Roads

I had some interesting encounters this past weekend. Wildwood State Park is right behind my house, so I get to go out there and roam around a bit. Here are a couple of critters I met on Sunday.

Now that I've got my new camera I hope to catch some shots of bears, deer, bobcats, foxes...all the animals I see on a regular basis out there. It's a great little park. If you live near Yucaipa I'd recommend a visit.

Oh, that's a state park? How cool is that?

Danged nice zoom on that new camera.

:D That's been amended to "venomous snakes". I actually enjoy other snakes and appreciate the fact that they prey upon rodents and other small creatures that would run amock with no predators.
