Weather Websites (Which do you guys use/like?)

Postby dvdlrnbugs » Fri Oct 12, 2012 8:40 am

Was just wondering what websites everyone likes to use to get their current, past and future weather from for Mountain ranges/Peaks.

I've been using NOAA and Mountain-Forecast.com

Would love to get some other suggestions

Mostly just the NOAA site. It's not perfect, but at least it allows one to get point forecasts.

I actually like weather.com even though it only lists towns and cities (no point forecast for non built up areas). It seems a little more accurate than the NOAA site.

Basically I look at both weather.gov (NOAA) and weather.com and sort of figure the actual weather will be somewhere around one or the other.

I like desertweather.com for current conditions in the Coachella Valley. Nicely designed site run by a local.
