Jim, those pics went from thoughts of cuteness to disgusting thoughts about viral-infected corneas in about 5 seconds. thanks.

With the heat wave, maybe it should be moved back a couple of weeks?

I hate to suggest this at the last minute, but all of us have learned to make sudden last minute changes when the weather turned bad. I'm willing to move it back if everyone else is. If I had a pass, I'd just do a loop up top. No pass.

Anybody going from the Indio/LQ/PD area? I can make it if I can get a ride. That's if we're still doing this on a warm day.

Howdy Zip :)

Too hot for me on Skyline but great weather for a potluck picnic in Long Valley 8)

I'm taking the first tram up and doing Gunny Walt's 12 mile loop: Wellman's > Saddle Junction > return via Hidden Divide.

You and your friends with speedy alien DNA can probably knock out the Strawberry loop before I finish 8)

Coleman bakery update: chocolate chip peanut butter cookies completed; molasses whole wheat bread on tap today.

Miles of smiles,
Ellen

Got a call today, and as it turns out I'm working on Saturday. :(

Well, with both Steve and Zip not able to make it on the 29th, I'm OK with moving things to Saturday the 13th. What do you think, Ellen, Sally, and John? (is anyone else coming?)

It's a little tricky for me to get there this weekend because of a birthday party I'm taking Joyce to in the morning and because of the major freeway closure in LA.

If it's this weekend, I will be there. If we move it to Saturday, Oct 13, that's actually better for me. Whichever works.
