We probably want to have the potluck in Long Valley when the tram is open :oops:

How does Saturday September 29th sound?

If this date isn't good, we can move into October.

It works for me, but maybe the following weekend (Oct 6) would be safer in terms of a possible delay with the tram re-opening, which I think has happened once or twice. It would be a real drag for people to get there on the 29th and find the tram still closed. Just a thought. However, I'm fine with whatever people decide--barring emergencies, I will be there!

The 29th is semi-OK for me. By "semi", I mean that I could do it but wouldn't arrive until maybe 2:00 PM.

The weekend of Oct 6 and 7 is completely booked for me.

Cool!

I'll bring gear for baking muffins. I'll bring fixin's for cinnamon, chocolate chip, and blueberry. I'm using a backpacking oven, so it maybe a bit slow, but the product is darned tasty.

I'll also bring Japanese ramen -- better than "Top" (cough, cough) Ramen, approved of by my Japanese wife. I can also make a simple chicken and noodles dish, a dish worth remembering for backpacking trips.

I'm happy to make omelettes (my specialty) if anyone wants one. Let me know if anyone is interested.

It's looking like I'll be able to come to the Hikin' Fools Potluck on the 29th! I'm thinking about bringing chili with trimmings if I can get my act together.
