Probably has nothing to do with it... but I did catch a glimpse of something rather odd last weekend.

First it was a noise. It kind of sounded like what I would think to be a UFO or something, but then when I finally saw it, with its thin white body frame, small narrow wings and lack of windows, I quickly realized that it was in fact an UAV. I'm not 100% sure of this, but I am quite certain it was. It was flying perhaps 100 feet above Tahquitz Valley, and it lingered around for a few minutes.

First time I ever see one of those in the mountains!

Could it have been a manned glider? They come up from Warner Springs and "buzz" the peak sometimes. They do make an odd sound. If it didn't have any sort of engine (prop or jet) that's probably what you saw.

When I lived up in Idyllwild, actually saw a hot air balloon floating right above Saddle Junction. How they got it there, no doubt, must of been an adventure for the balloonists (especially getting it back off the mountain).

Don't worry Danny, I see them often up there....they go to caramba when there's no humans around.

This thread has been very interesting. Clearly, Steve and Danny are not human.

I'm more human than anyone the republicans can find to run for office.
