(REMEMBER TO LOG IN BEFORE POSTING PAGES LONG TRIP REPORTS...for you may lose everything you have written ;) I'm going to have to make this WAY briefer because I just don't have time to rewrite everything.)

Andrew and I got off work Friday and drove to Humber Park from San Diego. Went up the Devil's Slide and camped on the ridge overlooking Tahquitz Peak and Lily Rock. Spent a great night under stars and flying meteors. Went up Gray Tahquitz in the morning (wouldn't have known that without finding the register) then ran to Red Tahquitz from there. Spent a few minutes up there then ran back down to camp since lightning bolts began to cut the sky above. Witnessed an incredible lightning show from camp, where bolts would literally hit the mountain near Tahquitz Peak. It reminded me of that Cahuilla story about the evil god residing on Tahquitz. He was pissed off that Saturday afternoon! After the storm, we ran to a highpoint overlooking Andreas Canyon and hung out there until sunset. We then ran back up Red Tahquitz to watch the incredible sunset. Ran back to camp and spent another night watching meteors under a clear night sky. Next morning, made our way to Tahquitz Peak, then went back down the South Ridge Trail for a minute until we cut across towards Lily Rock. It was awesome to finally stand on top of that granite monster. Found a log from Steve & Fern's first rock climb ever, epic! Tina's name was there also, although I don't think that was her first. Anyhow, we then went directly down to Humber from Lily, and sadly, went back home.

Nice stuff, bro. Really makes me want to get out there. Dang it, why haven't I won the lottery and become independently wealthy yet?

Hey, just an idea, but start a new line for each of your (beautiful) photos. The way they are now, they spread across the page, making the text difficult to read.
