I was just below Shirley Peak last Thursday at the saddle (el. 10,100ft.) just south of it (awsome views of the desert from there). Have to tell my Isteri there's a peak named after her

That whole area up there is pretty awesome. Anything above 9 or 10K in the SJ's is pretty cool.
