Maybe this is a bad idea, but what if a few of us took a long sturdy rope, tied some knots in it so it's really easy to grab from the water, and did the "middle pool challenge." See if you can get out without using the rope... I've never been to Caramba myself, so I can't really say whether this is a good fun low-risk activity or a really bad idea. A harness and pulley system would be safer. (+helmet)
