Hey Steve, did you and Fern ever find a summer route that wouldn't scare the crap out of me? I'm up for the suffering, that's a non-issue. It's the falling off a 100' granite face that would mess up my whole day...in other words, you know I'm a woos about heights. Have you found a pansy route for me yet?

C2C is a trail from start to finish. With people everywhere, and a bail.(tram) Snowcreek has a few deer trails. No people,no bail...... a thrill from start to finish. And a whole different look once in the creek. I know of 4 people who made it through this year. And none of them will go again until all the snow is gone or until next ''season'' To compare the two you need to stay 20ft left or right on C2C for most of the way,be it brush, boulders or whatever. In good conditions snowcreek is really hard, but lots of fun. In bad conditions I thought we were going to die. Just my take on it.

Zip, we have most of the way down. There's only one spot at around 7000ft.that was a little sketch, but not bad, we can take a short section of rope if you'd like, Ask Tina and Carmen about it to get there opinion on it. You need to go with us once. And you'll never forget it. And would end up doing it again. But all that snow needs to be gone first.

That's got to be one of the most pathetic attempts at spam I've ever seen. I can't even tell what they're trying to sell?!?

Fern, Steve, thanks for the replies...so do you have pics of that sketchy section?

Zip,I'll take a look,I'm sure Steve will too. Maybe our sister's might have a shot or two of that spot. Once you've gone through there, or go with someone who has, it's not that bad.
