Response to my #267

Hi Everybody,
I was so amazed at all the responses I got from my last posted skyline
hike. I wanted to say thanks to all of you, Cynthia, Perry, Cy, my Alaskan
hiking Husband Sid, my mountain sister Ellen, Zip, I remember that day
on San G running into you, my wonderful Steve and Fernando that are
always there if you run into trouble on skyline. What a great group of
people on "our mountain". I miss our Tina and hope she comes back
soon. Thanks to all of the others that I have had the joy of meeting on
this special trail. Hope to see you all soon.

Hi Steve, Scott, Ellen and Craig,
Does anyone know that conditions on skyline as far as the snow and
how deep and where it starts??? I know it will be warm on Sat. and I was
thinking if I feel really good at 5,000ft I will continue on, but, being alone
with the most recent storm, I don't want to have to call one of you to come
and rescue me(lol). Let me know

I think Fern will be on the trail saturday, and im sure others. I will be doing Eaton canyon, so out of town again.

really not sure what the snow has gone through up there since this past saturday, but that was a beautiful day on skyline....snow was up to three feet in places.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the update. I think I will pass this weekend and wait till
next weekend. I don't want to take the chance of being out in that heat
if I have to turn around. Its too risky for me. I'm going to go and do
Spitler Mountain up in Garner Valley. Have a safe hike to all of you
who are out there this weekend. Keep me updated on the snow conditions
on Skyline for next weekend.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the info. I think I will still pass till next weekend . Going
to go and do Spitler in Garner Valley. Should be nice and cool up there.
Have a good weekend on the trail. I'm turning the skyline "reins" over to
you this weekend (lol)
